Help me decide..Nintendo DSi or DSi XL

I am going to buy this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. Is the XL going to be to big for her hands? Anyone's child have one of these?

I used to have the old DS. Go for the regular DSi; the XL doesn't have any real advantage and actually really ruins the graphics because all it does is blow them up instead of making them more high-res. Also as you say, lol, she has small hands.

I've played the XL and even I thought it was too big. Go with the DSi.

I was going to bring this up, but noticed that her child is 5 years old and that this is a Christmas gift so I figured why bother, but hey yeah in case you'd rather wait, OP, the 3DS looks pretty cool.

It's glasses-free 3D, too. New technology, pretty neat.

I would go for the XL, but that is from a mom whose child had the first DS, then DSI came out, and now XL.. I don't think the hands would require much more. They get it going, let me tell you!!!!
