I am going back and forth between two possibilities for Labor Day Weekend. Yeah ... it would be nice to be able to be "flexible" but is hard to do with the DDP and lack of last minute ADR's.
Please tell me if you would pick 1 or 2 (and why if you are so inclined) or give me a totally different one if you would like! LOL!! We are there until Friday September 8th (we leave that AM) but from past experience I know the parks will clear out big time by Tuesday. I am most worried about our choice for Sunday / Monday. We are kinda lazy and like our rest so we need time off scheduled.
Plan 1:
Arrive Saturday Sept 2nd.
Check In
Dinner @ Ohana's
Sunday Sept 3rd.
AM: MGM for a few hours in the AM
MID: Rest & CS lunch
PM: Dinner @ Crystal Palace (7ish)
Spectro & Wishes
EMH until 1AM
Monday Sept. 4th
AM: Sleep In
MID: Resort Fun / CS lunch / Swim etc.
PM: MGM (early evening)
Dinner @ PTCafe
EMH until 11:30PM
Tuesday Sept. 5th
Off Day -- My DH will revolt if we don't have an off day!
Lunch - Pepper Market
Dinner - Cali Grill
Wednesday Sept. 6th
AM: Epcot
MID: Early lunch @ Epcot (Alfredo's possibly - we like it)
PM: AK
EMH until 8pm
Dinner @ FTBBQ (is it open EMH?)
Thursday Sept 7th
AM: MK EMH
Lunch @ Cosmic Rays
MID: Rest
PM: EPCOT
Dinner @ LeCellier
Pros to plan 1: Minimizes time in the heat & utilizes EMH's, hubby gets his sleep in days ... two of them!
Cons: It may not be the best way to avoid crowds, attractions limited during EMH's.
Plan 2
Saturday:
Arrive
Dinner @ Ohana's
Sunday:
AM - MID: AK
Lunch @ FTBBQ
PM: Off
Dinner @ Concourse SH
Monday
AM: EPCOT
Lunch @ Alfredo's
MID: REST
PM: MK
Dinner @ CPalace
Spectro & Wishes
Tuesday
OFF
Dinner @ Cali Grill
Wednesday
AM: MGM
MID: Lunch @ PTC
PM: OFF
Dinner @ Pepper market maybe
Thursday
AM: MK EMH
Lunch @ Cosmic Rays
MID: REST
PM: EPCOT
Dinner @ LeCellier
Pro's of Plan 2: Follows "best park days" for the most part avoiding crowds
Cons: Heat of the day is not avoided as much, DH only has one sleep in day.
I was trying to figure out a Plan 3 that would have park days on Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday with rest days on Monday & Wednesday. I bet DH would like that one the best as he likes "no nothing days" I like them too but not as much as him! LOL!! Just having trouble fitting it all in doing the three day one.
Any input or other ideas would be great!
Thanks!
