OK, I've read all of the threads and I feel as if I've gotten information overload and now I can't make a decision to save my life!:confused3

My 180 days is today so I can place my ADR but need to figure out what to do. I had decided to do Prime Time and forget about the Fantasmic package and just wait in the lines like the masses. BUT.. now I am torn. I don't think Mama Melrose is the best option since my hubby and Mom don't like Italian. I really just need someone to decide for me... H&V or BD WITH Fanasmic package... or try Primetime WITHOUT Fantasmic package??? We have never been to any of those restaurants. We went to Sci Fi last time and loved the atmosphere.

Please someone make this decision for me... I've developed a mental block!!

******* the person who decides for me will NOT be responsible for any negative experience that we may have, we are generally pretty happy wherever we go... ;)

Thanks all... :worship:

We loved the Fantasmic package. We ate at Mama Melrose and the meal was great! There are still lots of things for non italian lovers to eat. A few people i was with had steak, i had a shrimp pasta. Dessert was very good and appetizers are included when you get the F! package. We loved not having to wait in lines for the show. I would recommend for everyone to try it once.

ETA: I have not eaten at H&V but friends of ours always eat here. They said they are always pleasantly surprised how good the food actually is, despite always hearing negative things about the restaurant.

To me BD was not worth the 2TS credits or price for the FP. And YES I would do the FPackage!!!

I think lots of people like the package. I personally didn't like sitting way off to the side where the package section sits.

Your trip is in February? You may be dealing with lower crowds so that will help a bit.

We have done both ways. The mob was a nightmare for me with the kids and the stroller. We got good seats, but the wait to get in and out was a bit much. I clung to the kids for dear life while my hubby carted the little one in his arms.

We also did the package with Mama Melrose (service was VERY slow there, but the food was good and filling as it includes appetizers as well!). It was nice to walk in the back way. I had my stroller a lot longer. We got great seats 20 minutes before showtime and exiting out via the same route saved us a huge amount of time (anyone can use that route to exit...they just may not know its there).

Getting the package would not be a deal-breaker for me, but it was a lot more convenient to arrive late and get away from some of the crowd. We found the view to be a bit off to one side, but having seen the show a few days before from a more central seat, it didn't make any real difference, it just seemed like we might be missing something.

Enjoy the show! (which ever you choose!)
