I'm going to be in WDW with just dh, no kids this time, for a night before Dis-Con starts. Would like to have a nice dinner out. Doesn't have to be really romantic but would like it to be more of an adult place, since we won't have our kids with us :)

I've narrowed it down to California Grille or Shula's.

CG is one of my favorites and that's what I would recommend. Shula's is an excellant steak restaurant with portions that could feed a small 3rd world country ;) not to mention incredibly tender cuts of beef, but the CG's cuisine is amazing and the view is great! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. :D

Hmmmmmmm, is my opinion not sufficient? :teeth:

I'll give it again. The best steak I have ever eaten is at Shula's. I compare it to Morton's and the like. I have never been to CG but if you want beef Shula;s is the only place to go.

Just did both last week--
If a "'total" Disney experience (view, extra-friendly service, etc) is primary, then CG would be my choice. There are, however, lots of kids, especially at fireworks time.
Shula's is the more adult of the 2, and if good beef is primary, then it would be Shula's.
Hard to go to wrong with either!!
