...Rose and Crown and Beirgarten (sp?). I am having such a hard time. The menu and R&C looks so much better but Beirgarten looks like the atmosphere is so much more lively. I am not a huge fan of German food but I can always find something to eat. I love the fish and chips but I could always get the at the counter. My kiddos are 12,9 & 6 if that will make a difference.
TIA

we have dined at biergarten twice and the first time was really good. the second time not so good. i would go w/R&C. we have always had a good meal there.:yay:

I am a big fan of the Biergarten. It is fun and the food is very good. My kids, my husband and I really loved our dinners there when we have gone in the past. So much fun. The kids can go out on the dance floor and dance along to the music. It is a fun time had by all in my opinion. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies so far. World Showcase is not a favorite area for my kids. Last time we rushed through it so fast that I missed most of everything. This time they are 2 years older and I want to enjoy as much as I can. That being said I wanted to make the dinner there enjoyable for them. I have seen cool pics of Beirgarten...how's the atmosphere at R&C...is it kid friendly?

I think you'd have a good time at Biergarten. We were there in April, and we sat with a family that had 3 sons, probably ages 6,8,10. They were having a great time! There were several children and families dancing around on the dance floor in front of the band, and the kids at our table were fascinated with the "big horn" and other aspects of the entertainment. I'm a picky eater and was hesitant to try Biergarten, but found plenty on the buffet to eat.

I would also recommend Biergarten. We've been several times and always have a great experience. The entertainment is top notch and the food is delish. My DH is a bland eater and he always left stuffed!

Biergarten is the only restaurant in all of WDW I have no desire to go to again. The atmosphere is fun, but the food is inedible IMHO.

I absolutely LOVE Somerset (the bratwurst/frankfurter QS kiosk in front of Biergarten), in fact, it's my favorite thing in all of Epcot (except for LeCellier pretzel breadd), but Biergarten was disgusting. So much so that I left and got a frankfurter from somerset rather than eating anything else there.

It was awful IMHO, so I would opt for any place else. Just my .02
