Hi, we plan to visit VB during the 1st week of August: DW, DD (15), DS (10) and I. I've been there with the kids last week of August a few years ago and we loved the place. My wife is however afraid she won't have much to do during the day. She does not tolerate the heat very well, but she is up very early so we can certainly enjoy the beach early in the morning (great for Turtles) and late afternoon.
Do you have ideas about what we can do indoors during the day (any place with A/C, including things to do at the resort and within a 45 min drive). Shopping and movies are not part of what she likes. We enjoy museums, especially science, nature and history. Short walks outside are fine, as long as there is some shade. All I found for now is Cape Carnaveral.
Oh, she also enjoys good restaurants, hopefully we have some great options for lunch in the area?
Thanks!

A great wind down for us after 4 nights/5 days in the parks! A VERY MEMORABLE vaca as my late father in law, niece and our great nephew who resided in South Florida met us for a very enjoyable stay! Really enjoyed our 2 BR there! Hope that you ENJOY TOO!
