Help me clean my Minnie Ears!!

I have a pair of Minnie Bridal ears that have a tulle veil and I have no idea what I should do to clean it, I dont know if the ears can be fully submerged like the tulle needs to be to clean! Any ideas??

I would just gently hand wash the tulle part in the sink by hand with a mild dish or laundry detergent and then rinse and let it air dry flat and not put the ears in the water.

What material are the ears made of? Some have quite a bit of glued trim so be careful out there. A picture would be useful or maybe the fabric tag in assisting with this concern.
