We are trying to figure out what do do for dinner for our second Epcot day. We definitely want to go to Le Cellier for one of thedays and we are trying to decide between Coral Reef or Garden Grill dinner!! What would you suggest...We are a family of myself, DH, DS(17), DD(8) and DS (2)

Thank you for your help!!

We have only eaten at Coral Reef. The food is good. The only bad thing is it can get pretty noisy, but with a 2 yr. old, that may be a good thing! ;)

We've chosen those exact restaurants for our May trip. We chose Coral Reef for the atmosphere, and the Garden Grille because it's a character dining plus the uniqueness of a rotating restaurant.
If I had to choose, I'd probably pick the Garden Grille, simply because we're not much for seafood, although I haven't been to either before, so I can't share personal experience. Maybe check out menus before you decide!

Good luck!

Here are the menus. Maybe that will help you to decide.

Both restaurants have good food. If you want a unique atmosphere, then I'd say book an ADR at Coral Reef. If you want a character meal, then I'd say book Garden Grill. We really enjoy both of them.

my vote is coral reef... haven't been to either but I've heard great things about coral reef, and it's on the agenda for my next trip! :)

If you chose Coral Reef do NOT get the NY Strip - it was chewy and overcooked - lacked flavor. Glad I was on free dining :) The potatos were great as well as the Lobster Bisque soup.

My DH and I enjoyed GG very much! The booth layout gives you some good down-time... you can't see the other diners, so it seems more relaxing than other restaurants.

The character interaction is great! You get several private visits from each of them, without distraction from other tables. Lots of photo-ops. :)

Have read many so-so reviews of the food, but we liked it. Everything was hot and tasty, prepared just right. Not fancy food, but really good. And what's not to like about another plate of whatever you want more of?? :thumbsup2

Happy planning!

Personally I prefer Coral Reef....my kids had a blast watching the fish and other sea creatures in the tank. I really love their steak also. HTH!!!:goodvibes

Try to go in the same place. Make it Coral Reef on the first day then Garden Grill on the next day. You will definitely enjoy the food which is good and same as the place. Your family will be having fun on those two great places.:thumbsup2
