Okay. I may or may not be able to fit in 5 (yes, you read it, FIVE) ADR's at Epcot. I love all the food there, and DBF hasn't eaten at a lot of places there. But, after doing some itinerary planning, we MAY be able to only fit in 4, not 5. Bummer!

So, here are the 5 resteraunts: Coral Reef, Biergarten, Rose & Crown Pub, Teppan Edo and Le Cellier.

Coral Reef is a must for us, the food is mediocre but DBF LOVE LOVE LOVEEESSS fish and he's excited about watching fish while he eats, so that narrows it down to the other 4.

Here's the thing about Rose & Crown. I would skip it, BUT I love how you can watch illuminations from their porch if you are eating there, and have a great view. Does anyone know if Teppan Edo has anything like this?

thoughts, opinions..help me!

As far as I remember, Teppan Edo has no dining area where you can see the fireworks. You would pretty much have to elave the restaurant.

For us, Biergarten is a must do. It's just such a fun atmosphere, in our large group, the kids, parents, grand-parents all have a great time!

Of your five, I'd bump Teppan Edo. Not because it's not good (it is), but teppan-style restaurants are everywhere, and I'm guessing you've got one close to New London that's as good as Epcot's, and a good bit less expensive.

My minor gripe is that so much at Teppan Edo is a la carte. I'm used to having all the fun sides included in my dinner price.

Hibachi style restaurants are a dime a dozen. They're everywhere. I'd dump Teppan Edo.

It is VERY hard to get a good Illuminations viewing table on the patio at Rose and Crown these days--even in the most empty times in WDW. Too many people know about this trick. Plus, the food at Rose and Crown has gone really downhill in my opinion. I haven't had a great meal there in ages.

I think Teppan Edo is really fun, somewhat healthy, and great for a couple of adults, because you can chat with other folks at your table. It's a fun, interactive dining experience that I wouldn't trade. Unfortunately, Teppan Edo is in the back of the Japan pavilion and you can't see Illuminations; you CAN see Illuminations from Tokyo Dining in the front of the pavilion.

Biergarten I can take or leave. It's fun and interesting, but the food isn't fabulous.

Coral Reef has had a real emergence in food quality and is a fun place to dine; Le Cellier continues to be one of my favorites (as you can see here in my food blog).

Over all, I'd boot Rose and Crown. Good luck and have fun!

Does it have to be a TS restuarant? One of our favorite restuarants at EPCOT is Tangerine Cafe. We would choose there over most any other restaurant!!!
