Help Me Choose the Best Please

I've tried looking on the thread for BLT Views, but I'm not seeing it and would like some advice. We will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and using our brand new DVC membership in June 2015. My husband is a Monorail fanatic, and it would be awesome if we could get a room where he could sit on the balcony and watch the Monorails going through the Contemporary. What would be the absolute best 1-bedroom to do that? Any room number or area suggestions? TIA!

Any of the Theme Park view rooms would have a monorail view. We were on the fifth floor in room 7518 last fall which was a Theme Park view and had this sunset view:

I would prefer a room a little higher up so the view of lake is blocked by the monorail tracks. That way you have a lake, monorail and theme park view.

I'm looking for as close as I can get to this view, but I don't know what to call it. Lake View? Magic View? What is this silly thing?!

Based on the picture of Cont you have above and on the location of the tunnel to Cont. in that picture, that picture was taken looking somewhat left from the balcony from a theme park view room, likely 11th floor or higher, and in the link to the building room designations above ( http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082 ), it would be a room ending in 26, 28, or 30 or it could be as high as one the GVs ending in 26 or 30

We were in 8128 and had this panorama view, plenty of monorail watching! One of the room requests was for a high floor and we were pretty pleased with it.

Personally, I'm careful not to request specific room numbers since if those are not available, then so is your request and you could be stuck anywhere (which is always possible, anyway). I suggest requesting a high floor with a theme park view or overlooking the monorail. Best of luck!
