We are planning to book for 2020 (uk & ireland deals are well ahead)

We would like a good food court. We don't do many rope drops and staying for 2 weeks it's nice to have a lazy pool morning and lunch at the resort.

We usually hire a car, but I sometimes head to the parks by myself. My son and husband love more laid back holiday and often stay for a swim and I head to the park. So good bus service will be nice.

My teen son prefer quiet pools, I wonder if staying at POFQ can we use quet pool and POR?

The skyline gondola (sorry if not using the right term) will be running by next summer. Is this something that would be big benefit?

We personally love POFQ. You would be able to use the pool at POFQ as well as all of the pools at POR (quiet pools and the main pool). We've also stayed at POR and swam in the quiet pool as two adults. It was really relaxing and there were only two kids in the pool besides us. Most people were using the area to lay out in the sun.

No one really knows yet how the skyliner will factor into things so I would say if it looks interesting to you then book a resort with access to it. If you do choose to go the skyliner route, I would choose Pop as the resort. When are you planning the trip for? If it's later in 2020 you could wait and see how the skyliner runs after it opens and read people's thoughts on it.

The food court at POFQ is limited, but you could easily walk over to POR and use theirs for more options.

the good packages offered in Ireland are always year ahead and cheaper/standard rooms sell very quickly. Can I ask why PoP? I never looked into value resorts but happy to!

I think that sounds like a great plan! The food court at POR was really wonderful, but I think I’m the only person ever to not like the hotel itself ;). What I saw of POFQ looked beautiful so, if you’re up for a walk for food, give it a try.

Another option in my opinion would be Caribbean Beach Resort. Now, admittedly I haven’t been since the renovations, but even before we found it lovely, just beautiful and serene.

French Quarter is by far our favorite moderate. Good foodcourt and it is so compact everything is about 8 minutes from the bus. And you can ride the boat down to Disney Springs if you so choose.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the mods. They're fairly similar. I'd choose based on what theme you like best!

Pop just got all of their rooms refurbished and they are really nice. I still would pick POFQ over POP but I mentioned it because you talked about the skyliner and there is a station at pop.

And for resort eating, with POP you also have the option of walking over to AoA, which has other food options.

That’s true too. We do that when we stay there. I forgot about that. I will add that, as an adult, the pools at port Orleans are much better than at pop.
