We'll be spending our first day here and unfortunately could not get Chef Mickey's (yes, we would have been willing to leave the Park a little early). Now, I thought we'd like to try Coral Reef cause family loves seafood, but read some pretty bad reviews:so-so food and people piling up near the tables near the front making it not very enjoyable. So, now I'm thinking maybe the France restaurant ( the more casual one)or Mama Melrose or Le Cellier (I know..most likely won't be able to get it). Please give me your pick. Any "hidden" gems out there? We've done Askerhaus and Biergarten before.BTW, It's me, DH, DS11, and DD7--the kids have very mature taste buds and would be very happy with most of the menu offerings. Of course, if the Children's menu is limited, we'll be sharing, no prob.Thanx

Id say go for Le Cellier if you can get it. If you can't then try , Les Chefs de France. Mama Melrose is at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Good Luck

Our kids (DD14 and DS10) like Teppan Edo and Garden Grill as well as Chefs de France. We've also gone to Coral Reef and enjoyed it. LeCellier is good, but very over-rated IMO. We've experienced long delays in being seated here even with ADR's. 45 plus minutes when our children were smaller was quite unacceptable. Since your kids have mature taste buds, I'd go with Chefs de France. ::MinnieMo

Have you tried Restaurant Marrakesh yet. The food there is very good and especially if the kids are adventurous they will be able to sample items that they do not normally eat. And the level of spice intensity has been turned down. And usually it is easy to get reservations and they do hav entertainment.

Coral Reef dinner is overpriced and not that good, so skip that one. It is ok for lunch.
Here are three good ones for dinner:
Chefs de France, Tokyo Dining, Marrakesh
Le Cellier has fallen down in recent years and is very difficult to get into. You might want to check out the menus www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

We like the Coral Reef but always get the NY Strip steak there. But your backup choice there is also good Chefs de France, and also mentioned Teppen Edo we like. Our first day we for some reason like to go to San Angle Inn. We also go to Rose and Crown try for 7:30 seating so we will be there for Illuminations around desert time. Le Cellier if you are going there soon and didn't make an ADR it will probably be too late but try anyway maybe last minute Adr's can be made from cancellations.

I would suggest Garden Grill. We always have such fun there, and I like the food too.

Also, Teppan Edo is really neat. It's a beautiful restaurant, the food is delicious, and it's fun to watch the chef prepare your meal.

Have fun!

We always seem to go back to Coral Reef and it's never disappointed us, and the kids always like it.
