We are sliding May trip to September so looking at the following weeks. Not really interested in the Food Wine Festival and will not be doing the Halloween Party. So looking more at crowd levels and weather possibly.

week 1 - August 28 thru Sept 7
week 2 - September 11 thru September 20
week 3 = September 18 thru September 27

Thank you,

It's hard to say what September crowds will look like this year. I've seen a lot of posts where spring trips were rescheduled for September. Weather-wise, it will most likely be hot and humid during any of this weeks, with the worst being end of August/beginning of September. I believe (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that the canceled trips got free dining through September 30th.

I almost always go the 3rd week of September. I have noticed the past few years that the first and second weeks are less busy. Once the 3rd week hits, it gets a little more busy. Not super busy, just a little more than the first 2.
ETA: I would go any of them. I would, in most cases, choose the September 11th - 20th week, but who knows what's going to happen with schools going back? Our kids would be going back on September 7 in a normal year. So, if I wanted to take the grandkids, I would pick the August - September trip.

Yes, they got free dining. I have a week scheduled in August, so it wasn't the happiest of news for me, but I'll survive. I think the dining is quick service anyway.

I posted this in a different thread a week or so ago where that person was looking at the same dates you are:

I'd recommend the 9/8-9/12 dates. We're there 8/29-9/6 and I want that time to myself. :rotfl2:Just kidding.

Seriously though, we're doing the earlier dates, because the kids don't go back to school until Labour day here. I know some places in the States they go back some time in August, but there are others, like here, that don't go back till Labour day and will still be heading out on vacations. With the ability to go post Labour day, you'll avoid the extra crowds of people like us, and instead have to only deal with the crowds of people that are avoiding people like us (like we're recommending you do).

Same holds true, if you go before Labour day, you'll still get the crowds of people, like us, who don't go back to school until the Tuesday after Labour Day.
