I want to take my girlfriend out to dinner on the night of our arrival. We won't have park admission so I don't think we will be able to dine inside the park. What is a good restaurant for a young couple to go out to?

The Grand Floridan Cafe is a great place for dinner, located in the Grand floridan hotel so you don,t need park admission tickets. The atmosphere is a little more quiet than most restaurants & the menu & food is exceptional. Have fun.:cool1::yay:

If you can afford it, I would pick Ca Grill at the Contemporary. The Contemporary is one of the original hotels and the CG has stunning views of MK, a modern menu and is a noisy, upscale place.

If that's too much money, I would pick the Wave at Contemporary.

CA Grill seems to be a popular one. Also they have an observation deck where you can watch wishes from.:)

PPs suggestions are all excellent. Depending on what type of cuisine you enjoy, you might also consider the following (which are fairly easy to get into without reservations, so you can make a game time decision):

Seafood: Fulton's at Downtown -- you can usually get seats in the lounge with no reservations, and the lounge is right on the water. It's fun and not horribly expensive. (BlueZoo at the Dolphin is great too -- but it is wicked expensive. We often eat in the lounge area at BlueZoo, small plates and drinks/wine.)

Japanese/Asian: Kimonos at the Swan has great sushi and it is a really neat place. Also a lounge, opens at 5:30, with kareoke after 9:30 so work around or with that depending on whether it's your thing. There are pictures and menu online and swandolphin.com. (Several good restaurants at swandolphin.com you check out online, including BlueZoo.)

African/Asian Fusion: Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge (again, lounge means less waiting than dining room). Neat food, great atmosphere. Very fun. Animals right outside the window!

Have a great trip!

Ragland Road in Downtown Disney is a fun place with the added bonus of nighttime entertainment.

Grand Floridian Cafe would be my choice, it's a casual cafe but it has a nice decor and atmosphere for a nice evening out. And the prices are fairly reasonable compared to some other restaurants and there's also a lot of variety here.

California grill would be cool during wishes. How hard is it to get a reservation for that timeslot? Im not going till dec 1st and my 90 day adr is comin up on wed

Which resort are you staying at?
We did Jikos at AKL on our arrival night for our Honeymoon in January. We were staying there so it was convenient.

Anywhere on the monorail is also a good option, because its easy to take a bus to MK then the Monorail to any of those resorts, if you don't have a car.
