Help me choose a character meal

They have people walking through the lines selling the breakfast at minnies Im not sure what time they stop that. I would be there when the park opened or at least have someone to go in and get info if they open the gates early and let in into main street. THere is a store on Right hand side that is open to walk through to get to the plaza in. I think it was the photo shop. I wouldnt get their any later than 930 seating could take a few minutes as you go through the buffett to get your food. After that just sit back and enjoy.

We saw: Capt. Hook, Minnie (of course),Pooh, rabbit, chip and dale, Tigger,Eyore. So all the Pooh Characters except owl kanga and piggeltt (who werent there anyway)

There were plenty of characters at our 10:30 for Minnie, I believe the reservation person told me that they stop coming out around 10:45 but they were there until we left after 11.

So, if you order off the menu at Lilo and Stitch does that end up being a little cheaper? I eat all the time, but not big portions, so buffets seem like such a waste. Also, my 11-year-old doesn't eat much, but gets charged for an adult by Disney. Crazy! (My 13-year-old boy, well... not so crazy) :rolleyes1

just had the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at PCH Grill and thought it was good. We had great character interaction and I liked the food. I fell in love with the fruit smoothies on the buffet and LOVE LLOVE LOVE the pineapple scones with pineapple preserves, YUMMO!

At minnies the set up is annoying you have to stand in line and the cast members portion your food for you. If you ask for seconds they give you a terribly tiny additional portion. I prefer the ones where I can serve myself. Characters at minnies they have more of the basic which I like buuuut waiting for them to come to you table is very irriating. it lacks the flow that the others have they just randomly go from table to table and a lot of rude people chase the characters around interrupting other's time. Just irritating..

On the other hand, the one thing I like about Minnies is the fact they dish up your food. I HATE buffets. I hate the thought that some person with dirty hands may have touched the food and put it back. I've seen it happen more then I care to think about. ICK!

We've always had the best character interaction at Minnies. Never a problem with rude people interupting our time. When were there on Mothers day every character came by our table 2-3 times. We had a crazy amount of interaction with them. Of course it was a holiday so they had more then the normal amount of characters there, so that helped.

Brer Fox must have spent a good 10 minutes at our table the first time, then came back around again. At one point he even took my camera and started snapping pictures with it. Max loved my sons hair and kept coming by to play with it.

So basically more characters are at Minnie's than anywhere else... which makes sense since it is in the park. If we wanted to do it as a later breakfast what time would you recommend? I saw that they stop serving food at 11:30 I think that's what I read somewhere at least. Thanks for all the wonderful feedback!

We usually plan for around 10-10:15, on an early entry day if we can. That way we are in the park early 7-8 am (a light breakfast at the hotel before we go). We have those first few hours to play while the crowds are small and the lines are short, then we head off to stuff our selves.

Wait, fruit smoothies on the breakfast buffet at Lilo and Stitch? I might be sold there, plus the pineapple scones sound very interesting. Hm... ::yes::

I think they were a banana kinda smoothie. I dunno, they were a cream off white color and nice and thick and cold. The banana wasn't overpowering, but definitely there. I had ordered juice, then discovered the smoothies......my juice didn't get drank much :rotfl2:

Is the character interaction still good if you come by later?

Jade and I did the Minnies Breakfast on a spur of the moment but I did notice that the characters seemed to stay until everyone was done eatting...but you have to be careful our table was moved on us and I heard that it had happened a couple times that...we'er seated again with what I thought was a better seat on Terrace area...the CMs made sure that each and every character got to us I'll post some of the pics in a later post.

Here are some pics of Jade and Arty at Minnie and friends breakfast:
