I have one dinner in Epcot that I need to plan. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. I am not very into German food, and have a very picky 5 year old, but Biergarten sounds fun. I know Le Cellier is supposed to be wonderful, but I'm wondering if this is the best choice if you only have 1 TS meal in Epcot with kids. I've also thought about Alfredo's, Rose and Crown and San Angel. Help! I've been debating this issue forever. I need some objective opinions :confused3

We've done Biergarten, Teppanyaki and Marrakesh (and DH is the PICKIEST person I have ever heard described). We both enjoyed all 3....for children, Marrakesh is not going to be an easy one to sell picky eaters on. Teppanyaki has steak and chicken which they cook in front of you. The kids might enjoy watching this and really, I mostly picked out the parts I liked like a kid would do. :rotfl: Biergarten we've done on our last two trips and would probably be great for them. They have the well-known German foods like saurkraut and weinershnitzel (did I even come close to spelling that right??) but they also have foods that you wouldn't consider to be German....lots of potato salads and breads, different kinds of chicken - a really yummy baked chicken and a kind of fried chicken, they also have various children options like all WDW restaurants do, so they can still get mac and cheese if they want! And the desserts are sooo yummy and the entertainment is really fun. I dont' think the kids would have a problem finding enough things they would like.

Coral Reef is nice with the aquarium, not in the world showcase but I have always been thrilled with my meal.

Another vote for Biergarten, the entertainment is great for young and old alike, you can even polka on the dance floor, which alot of kids do :) And you can't beat the kdis not having to wait to eat, with a buffet, they can help themselves whenever they want. It's a fun table service place, and my kids (7 & 8) loved it, too :)

my vote is for teppenyaki. Very fun, great food, and entertainment!

tricia.

Teppanyaki! The food is great and the entertainment should be enough to keep kiddos from wanting to get up and run around. ;)

Have fun!

with little ones and picky ones i think beirgarten. fun plus enough basics for the pickys and not so basic for the not so picky..we really enjoyed our meal there especially the raspberry florentine cookies! ompapa!

My 3 year old DD loved San Angel. The water ride, the marriachi band, the chips and salsa, and the atmosphere was great. Food was really good and DW and I loved our meal from appetizer to dessert.

San Angel Inn would be pretty good for the kids given the ambience, chips and salsa, and selection of familiar Tex-Mex type foods; however, I think the food there is bland and the tables are pushed tightly together, so it could get too cozy for your tastes.

Coral Reef does have the giant aquarium which would go a long way to entertaining your family, but the adult menu is pricey to some. And it helps if you like fish and seafood! :earsboy: Our DD4 loved CR, and the food and service when we went was superb. If you haven't done CR before, I highly recommend it.
