On my MDE account, my husband and I are linked, but it now shows our teen daughter separately as "people I do not have plans with".

I created my MDE account 3 years ago, adding my husband and then-11 year old daughter. At the time she showed up the same as my husband. She is now 14 and when we go back next year she will be 15.

I've linked our tickets but it's saying I need to invite her via email to connect to my account. Then when we do that it says she needs to create her own MDE account. However it SAYS YOU HAVE TO BE 16 TO HAVE AN MDE ACCOUNT!

What do I do? I started to create a new name for her within my own account, but when I went to delete her original one underneath it it said "People I plan for" or "people I have plans with" or something like that so I didn't delete the original after all.

I've been on hold with Disney for hooooooouuuuuuurrrrrrsssss....literally over 3 hours. Can anyone here help?

Did she get aged up for any reason in the system? I know sometimes people will age up their kids to get free adult dining credits.

Did your husband link her under his MDE? Something similar happened to me when I was booking for my family and my sister's family.
If I'm not mistaken, you can re-add her to your family & friends in MDE. You'll need to select 'I'll enter their name and age'. Then you would assign the ticket to that new profile.

No I originally put in her actual birthdate when I created my account 3 years ago and tried yesterday to create an MDE account for her with her actual birthdate. We never do dining plans so I would have had no reason to 'age her up'.

Nope I'm the only one with an MDE. Everyone was originally under my account, and for some reason Disney is now considering her 'separate' but is making it impossible for me to link her back in.
