ok hubby wants to do one of these whick one will be the best to do:
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Trail's End Restaurant
must add we will have our vegetarian grand daughter with us

We ate at both places last year and, as vegetarians, I would not recommend Trails End. The only thing suitable for us was salad, they only had one soup and that had meat in it so we ate very little, well except for my 11 year old son who isn't vegetarian, he loved it. It's cheap and it's all you can eat but that's not really beneficial when there's nothing to eat.

Whispering Canyon, on the other hand, was great. I had a dish with lots of veg and beans and grains, sorry I don't recall the name of it but it was lovely and DH had a pasta dish which wasn't vegetarian on the menu but they offered to cook it without the bacon or chicken (can't remember) and he loved it. The staff were very accommodating there and made sure we had plenty of salad and bread too. Very nice meal.

If it's breakfast you're doing though, either place will be fine I'd imagine.

We had WCC in January, & it was super. I am sure your granddaughter will think this place is a hoot.
