Hi Everyone,

We are looking for some really good new family
recipes......

Does not matter, from appetizers, main meals, desserts........

With the holidays getting ready to start we would love
to see home recipes (these are the BEST!!!)

We are looking for 2 greek recipes by chance??????

MOUSAKA and there is a AWESOME greek cookie
that is made with orange juice and you shape them
(like plain butter cookies)in different shapes, they
are great with coffee or tea and sometimes we have
even had them with choc chips in them.

Also, there is a cookie called CHOC CRINKLES???? You
finish these off with white powdered sugar!!!!????

Thanks and I look forward to some new ideas :)

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Dana :)

I would love new holiday ideas as well. We seem to be stuck in a rut every year. The problem is, you have to make the traditional dishes while sneaking in new ones to see if they stick. We always have sooooo much food!

But keep the recipes coming!

Here are two very easy ones that seem to have become a tradition.

Ambrosia (well we call it that).

1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can manderine orange sections, drained
1 package orange jello
1 container cool whip
1 container cottage cheese

Mix pinapple and box of jello together. Add manderine oranges. Blend in cottage cheese and cool whip. Chill.
This can be served with your main meal, or as adessert. It isn't real sweet, and even people that hate cottage cheese are surprised that they like it.

Easy pea salad

1 bag of frozen peas
cheddar cheese in small chunks, just whatever amount you want.
Miricle whip or mayo to taste, not a lot though
minced onions or onion powder to taste.

put the peas in a colander and run them under cold water for a couple of minutes so they defrost. Drain well. Toss the peas and all the other ingredients together. Stick it in the frige and call it a day! Serve cold.

Both of these are nice, because you can make them early in the day.

We love NEW and OLD TIME FAVORITE recipes
(we love to cook)!!!

Thank you for the recipes and hopefully everyone
will send in a couple and we can have some
hehe surprised guests this year :)

Dana :)

New to us last year were:
T'giving:
FuFu (Boma)
Rootbeer Sweet Potatoes (H&V)

C'mas - we have 2 meals:
Frunch (Boma)

Cinderella's Au Gratin Potatoes (MK)
Strawberry Banana Bread (Whispering Canyon)
Crab Rangoon

I'm not sure what else we'll have, but we will repeat all of the new-for-C'mas items. :D :D :D

Thank You!!!!!

The more recipes the better!!!!

Anyone have the recipe from DCL on
Palo's CHOC. SOUFFLE (I am not sure I spelled
it right hehe) just LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Thanks

Dana :)
