Help!! Looking for High School Musical Party Supplies

Does anyone know where I can get High School Musical Birthday Supplies. My daughter is having her 9th birthday party on Aug. 17 when HSM 2 Premieres. I live close to Edmonton and have checked Walmart, Dollarama, Buck or Two, Partyland. I have also checked online, but can not get the items in time. Any ideas??? Thanks for your help.

I've had the same issue - local stores seem sold out, and no time to order online. One backup plan I've come up with - bought several tween/ teen magazines (Tiger Beat, Pop Star) - they have scads of posters and pictures of the movie characters. So - we're going to cut out photos and stick on wall, put on tablecloth, etc. - not the real thing, but it'll do in a pinch (plus - when daughter was upset the Walmart $5.95 poster was sold out - she jumped up and down to get the Pop Star magazine for $4.95 that had about 4 almost as large pull-out photos in it.)

Hope it works for you. I"m going to buy colour-coordinated napkins, etc.

I have seen them, along with multiple HSM items for loot bags at ToysRUs. Also, I don't know if you have them in AB, but we have Party Packagers and they carry the whole birthday line too.

It is a new line ... coming out to coincide with HSM2 so do keep your eyes open at the stores you have already been to. At Wal-mart in particular, I have seen a 12-pack of pencils for $1.49ish, folders for about the same, large notepads (diary type) for $3-4. This was all in the stationary/back-to-school section. No birthday supplies, but you could pick up these for loot.

Keep in mind that with a HSM theme you could also decorate with cheerleader/basketball/school supplies.

I was trying to get my DD7 to pick this theme for her birthday, but she'd rather Kim Possible so I'm collecting all the little spy gear stuff I can find. I'll keep the HSM party in mind for when she turns 9. (and her 8th birthday isn't until Feb ... I'm an anal planner outside of Disney too )

I never even thought of ToysRUs - I'll check that out today for my daughter (she's turning 8 in less than 2 weeks).

I phoned Edmonton Toys R US today and nothing!! They didn't ever have it. I also tried Zellers and they don't have it either.

I've been to 2 Zellers, 1 ToysRUs, 1 Party Mart, and 1 Party Store - nothing! :-(

I phoned some more party supply stores in Edmonton and nothing, but one girl told me she just saw some at the Walmart in South Common Edmonton. It was not in the party section it was on a back end of the isle by the cards. I got the small plates, large plates, cups, large napkins and tablecloth. Sheilag, I don't know where you are from, but I hope this helps.

Hi - I got some at perfectpartybycody website - and they have a spot here in Ottawa, so I can pick up my order tomorrow afternoon. Got plates, napkins, serviettes, and loot bags.

Now, dear daughter wants her party date moved up to coincide with HSM2 premiere on Friday, Aug.17th - it's on the family channel in Canada, 8pm. Yeah.
