Help locating confirmation number to link resort to MDE

I usually travel to Disney onDVC points. In April I’ll be going on a work trip, so my hotel (Disney resort) was booked by a lady at my work. She sent a confirmation for the hotel, but it doesn’t have the correct number of digits. I tried linking it anyway (and variations of it thinking of possible typos). The lady at work who booked it is clueless. She said she sent the confirmation and I should just arrive at all star sports on the appropriate date. When I called Disney to see if they could locate the confirmation number , they could not either, even though they said they could see the room was booked in my name. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? If an all star sports room is booked in my name, I should be able to link it to MDE right? Are there any exceptions to that? My 60 day FP would be able to be booked on Mon if I can figure this out by then.

Sounds like she booked through an agency. Try explaining you need her to contact the agency and obtain specifically the Disney confirmation number.
