Hi everyone,
My mom and I leave in a month for Disney! We are currently booked in a standard room at POFQ with a FLORIDA resident discount. We were planning on purchasing the FL Res play 4 days pass as our park tickets, although we only have 3 park days planned. Currently we have 3 table service meals planned over our 4 days and eat counter service the other times with a snack or 2 during the day.
For the room and tickets, I am at a total of $868, with taxes.
I added up the cost of the table service meals I know we will definitely be eating, and I came to a total of about $158, including resort mugs, but not including tax and tip.
When you combine those meals, mugs, resort and tickets, I am at $1026. When I searched for the price of the dining plan with a 3-day base ticket I got a total of $1294.22, for a difference of $268.
I know this sounds stupid, but will I really spend $268 on food? I know we would add another table service which would probably be another $40-50, and then that leaves a little over $200 for snacks, counter service food. I'm having a hard time imagining me spending that much.
So thoughts, what do you all think? Help me if I am missing something. I've never done DDP before (obviously
). TIA!
