EEk, we leave in 2 days and I still can't decide...DDs 8 and 5
I was lucky to get lunch ressies at both CR and LC, but I want to cancel the one we don't want to open it up for others...
My thoughts...
We've never done either!
LC: pretzel bread, cheese soup, girls eat steak, atmosphere not kiddie
CR: cool fish tank, cool fish tank, girls don't eat fish

I need expert advice!

:o)
Thanks!

My kids eat both steak and fish so it's an easy call for me! We book Le Cellier.

I must, with a heavy heart as a carnivor, say to take Coral Reef. The kids meals choices have options without fish.

So, take them in, let them marvel at the tank. They will love it! Mine did. Still do!

Order yourself a Lobster soup, or scallops, and some grilled Mahi-mahi, or seared tilapia.

Book Le Cellier on a future visit.

Coral Reef...

We are doing both and have done both in the past my boys (4&5) definately prefer Coral Reef.

They have non fish options for kids at Coral Reef. I believe DD had chicken strips last time. I would go with Coral Reef due to the tanks, it is really neat, my DD6 loves to eat there. For myself I would chose LC between the 2, simply because the food is better in my opinion.

The kids will probably enjoy Coral Reef a lot more. We had a pretty good lunch there as well. They definitely have non-fish entrees for adults and kids. I had a chicken caesar salad, and DD had pizza from the kids menu.

Coral Reef for atmostphere. They'll enjoy it way more than slightly cramped LeCellier.

for kid's.... Coral Reef hands down. It's so pretty in there and you can request (and wait for) a table next to the glass. it's worth waiting for. It'll keep the kids occupied the whole time ! :thumbsup2

OK...I'm the odd-ball...I'm saying LeCellier.
Reasons:
#1. My daughter & family just went...kids ages 7, 4 & 2. They are still talking about LeCellier. They had yummy drinks, fruit cups & bread sticks till they were stuffed. They totally loved it...only places they liked better were the castle & Ohana.
#2. I figure you have other "kid" restaurants you are already doing w/ characters etc. so they will be ok w/ missing Coral Reef. I'd make sure I saw the aquariums while there & they won't miss out that way.
#3. LeCellier is my favorite place so the kiddos would know they are being sweet to Mommy to eat at her favorite place...lol
!

I would pick Coral Reef for a family atmosphere in a heartbeat. Also, there is food on their menu for everybody!

I've never done Coral Reef but I'd say Le Cellier as news came out today that starting next year it will cost you each 2 table service credits to eat dinner. Lunch is still 1 credit but chances of reservations filling up fast to save people a credit for a TS meal are pretty high. I've eaten at Le Cellier and it was very good!

I would pick Coral Reef. We did both recently and my daughter (10) loved Coral Reef. It was her 2nd fave meal and restaurant of the trip.
