Just planned a relatively last minutetrip for this Oct. during the F&W festival. We want to stay at an Epcot resort but of course they are all booked. My fault, I know, for booking so late but this really was a spontaneous last minute idea.
I made the reservation but we still want to stay at an Epcot resort. Is there anything I can do to better my chances of making this switch? For instance is there a specific time of day when cancellations post which would be a good time for me to call to enhance the chances that I can make a switch? Or do cancellations just post whenever and am I just going to have to call and hope I get lucky? How often should I call to see if there are any cancellations? Can I fax anyone in particular with my request that will make a difference and better my chances?
Anyone have this problem and have any success changing a hotel reservation when the hotel you wanted is booked?
I realize I may be out of luck but if anyone has any suggestions on how I might increase my chances for changing hotels I would be all (mouse) ears!
