Help! Last minute trip need car rental for 6

Hello- I am hoping someone may have some advice. We have decided to take a holiday trip (Very last minute) and I am thinking I may not be able to find a rental vehicle for 6 people that is not an outrageous price. So far most look to be over $1000. Our dates are Dec 24 - Jan 2. I realize that we are going at a premium time and have probably waited too long to find any deals but thought I would ask. Anyone???

I think $1,000 is probably about where you are going to land for a week and two days and peak travel on a last minute booking, unfortunately. If you find sub $900, I would be impressed.

A couple of suggestions:

Try checking rental prices from the companies at the Swan and Dolphin, and the DTD hotels. Both have rental agencies in the area, though I can't think of which ones right now. Rates may be cheaper than what you find at MCO.

Head over to Mousesavers and check them for any discount codes that are out.
