help -- last minute rental car info needed

Hi all. We are going to WDW on Thursday January 26th and staying at the poly. I have always used disney transportation and never rented a car. My friend that I am traveling with just learned that her uncle who lives about an hour north of Orlando has a very serious medical condition and does not have long to live. She needs to drive up to see him on the Saturday of our trip. Here is my queston -- is there a rental car place on site? She just wants to rent the car for one day -- maybe pick up Friday night and drop off Sat afternoon. Alternatively, if they could drop the car off at the poly on Saturday that would be even better. Finally, what are her best options for discount codes. Sorry if some of this information is already on this board (I am going to go look now) but I just learned of this issue and didnt have time to scour the board for information yet. I figured my internet friends would have all of the answers. THanks in advance for you help.

Alamo/National is onsite at Disney. They will pick you up via shuttle if you rent from the CCC. They will also drop you off after you drop off the car. There is no dropping facility at the Poly. There are also no real discounts on a one day rental.
Right now, for those dates, the rate would range from 29.00 for an economy to 44.00 for a full size, this is base rate and does not include taxes and fees.
