My family and I area already booked and paid for our vacation next month May 28-June 4 at the Caribbean, but my dad just received his back social security money (he's been on disability since June of 2010 and just received his payment on April 15, 2011) and is interested in taking a trip with my family. We would need an additional room and park tickets. Right now with no discounts, it's $2509.42 (with deluxe dining)... I know he won't be interested in that. I'd love for my dad to go, but need some kind of a discount or code... I would REALLY appreciatea ny help ya'll can offer!! Thank You and God Bless!

go to disney website request vacation club dvd and make park maps. Wait a day then call and tell them you think your husband saw a free dining mailing the other day, they will check to see if you have one. I called three days in a row and had one on day 3.

Is it too late to downgrade your vacation to match what he can afford? Two value rooms instead of one moderate, regular dining instead of deluxe?

There are no general public discounts available for that time period now.
If you booked under a code you could call and ask if they would extend it to an additional room. They may say no but, it couldn't hurt.

Would you all be able to fit into the room you are currently booked (4 people plus a child under 2)? If you need more room perhaps upgrade to a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa? Again if you are currently booked with a discount see if you can use that to change to a different resort. Old Key West has the largest rooms on site. If your upgrade there will be no change fee and it can be affordable since Dad chips in for the larger room.
Perhaps your dad could do the regular dining plan if you book 2 separate rooms? Or perhaps he could skip the park hopper or water parks options on his ticket if you have those.

Thank you to all of you for your suggestions. We currently have 3 adults (my FIL is going too), 6 year old and 18 month old, so adding another person to our room is not allowed by WDW. We don't have park hopper or water park options. We chose Deluxe Dining because this is a vacation and a special treat for our very hard year we've had and we'd prefer not to downgrade anything if we don't have to... I will call and see if we can get the code extended to the additional room and that would probably help save a few hundred for him... And we'll price out the option of upgrading to a deluxe that will accomodate us all. Thanks everyone!
