Hi! We just decided to add on a day to our one night trip to LA, making it a 2 night trip and celebrating our 18th anniversary early! I think a date night at Disneyland would be amazing. Any ideas for date night at Disneyland? We'd probably have from 5-11pm. Not sure if we'd want to do a big dinner or do appetizers and drinks and add in snacks or a late dessert. We aren't foodies so no need to do Napa Rose. Maybe Steakhouse 55 or nearby Roy's. Just looking for ideas to make it fun and romantic. Or, I guess, if you have other non-Disneyland amazing date night ideas we'd be open to those too. Thank you for any suggestions!

Honestly, you could get a meal and have a lot of fun at Downtown Disney, and not have to spend money on park admission. It might be tough to be that close and not go in the parks, though. That said, if you're going to be in LA, consider Citywalk instead.

Ok, thank you, I will look at Citywalk also. We are staying in Downtown LA for Saturday night and I haven't booked a room for Friday night yet. I'll wait until we decide what we're doing and then book a room close by. I have an annual pass so we would only need to buy 1 ticket.

If you do venture into the parks...World of Color dessert party in California Adventure...I know it's not in Disneyland...but it's a great way to end a Disney day!

You don't need to have a DLR ticket to eat at any of the hotel restaurants (Steakhouse 55, Trader Sams, Napa Rose)--just to eat inside the parks. Napa Rose is lovely and romantic for appetizers and drinks and, if money wasn't an object, I'd go to CC or BB.

If you will be at the parks on the Friday, you could do dinner and dancing in DtD. There is usually a danceable band at the Main Stage (by ESPN Zone). If you'll be at the parks on Saturday, you could do dinner, then dancing at the Royal Swing Ball in DL, at PFF. There is a live band every Saturday night. There is also dancing (not as many couples, but some really fun people) at TLT. You could do the WOC Dessert Party. And share a snack while watching the neon lighting on Route 66 in CL. When we watch the lighting, we always dance to the Sh-boom song. So romantic! And if you spend the evening in DCA, don't forget to end your date night with ice cream sundaes at Ghirardelli's. :) Have a wonderful time!

Thank you for all of the ideas everyone! I appreciate them. Its looking like we are going to do the Disneyland date night idea. Even tho it's expensive for one night we'll go into the parks. I'm excited!
