Too Much Noise, Too Many Children, Too Much Running, Must have something to calm my brain---need help---brain hurts

Anything--please!

Just do what I do.... Promise yourself that it will be AT LEAST 6 months before you will be willing to subject yourself to that torture again! ;)

Rum and coke...ASAP. This was the only thing that helped me afterwards. SO had several beers to drown out the experience!:p

NEVER go to Chuck E. Cheese during a school vacation!!!

I made the same mistake yesterday....took my DS 3 there. It was a nuthouse. After 2 hours I couldn't take it anymore. Trying to get an overtired toddler out of there is torture.

That being said, he absolutely loves it there and gets a ton of exercise (and probably enough germs to get him sick all year which is why the second we're home we went in the tub!)

:)

I have a reservation for DS 5th birthday(which is tomorrow Happy Birthday Chris :jumping1: ) on the 25th with his friends from pre-school argghh now there is a costumed mouse I can do without!

That's exactly why when I do take DD it's a 9am right when they open. Just as it's getting loud we're ready to leave.

DS6 was invited to a bday party there on Saturday night....DH is taking him...I am not in the mood!!

I found the best way to never have to go there again. I passed out while I was there with DD and DS - too much noise - totally over stimulated. I had to call DH to come save me. Now DS says he never wants to go there again.

Ok, it wasn't the fun way but I'll take any way out of going to that place that I can!

a couple of xanax MAY work and don't forget to hose your kids down with disinfectant. We have only been 3 times and each time one of the kids got really sick, coincedence I think not.

Click on some of Dan's 'Close Your Eyes' Threads....:D

I also downloaded the Space Mountain music. Boy, is it relaxing......:D

I love Chuck E Cheese!!!!!

I love the games as much as my son.....

Yes I'm a sick, sick person...ROTFLOL!

A couple of weeks ago, apple martinis made me feel like I had just left Chuckie Cheese. Wow are they strong!

I make them at home - and "cut them down" with apple juice.

still get the same effect - just a wee-bit watered down with the juice. ;)

One of our kids was invited to a birthday party there once...by the time we got done picking him up DH was yelling (and he never yells). After that one experience I told all my kids, "You will NEVER have your birthday party there. NEVER."

That is what we do too.

I hate Chuck E. Cheese!!!!! I have avoided having my own childrens parties there DS 4 DD6, even though they ask EVERY year. We will be there next Thursday for a party:crazy:

I will have the Apple Martinis chilled and waiting!!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

Some insights into Chuck E Cheese:

1. Valium. It's the only way to go.

2. The teenagers who work there make minimum wage or slightly more. That, I cannot even fathom.

3. Try calling it "Charles Fromage", i.e. Chuck E Cheese in French, pronounced "Sh-ahr-lll Froh-mahj". It sounds like a fine French restaurant.
