Hi,
I am a DVC'er who is very familiar with WDW.
I am taking mom to Paris for her (bucket list) and we decided to Disney for 2 nights.

We are staying at the Disneyland hotel for easiest convenience for mom:-)
OK so
Apparently the Monday in france is whit day and it was more expensive to stay mon, tues night(end of trip), than fri, sat.

1. I added the Premier access ultimate for 1 day Saturday...(EXPENSIVE)
-What is this? Is this a fastpass all day? Just go to any "fastpass" line on any ride? Any time of day?
-or do i have to make a ressie on app one at a time?
2. Does this include "guaranteed access" to shows etc
3. Are shows in English?
4. Will the park feel familiar to me? Aka wdw magic kingdom.
5. How much about is a private transfer from cdg- hotel?
6. Any restaurants not to miss?

7. Anyone have experience with renting from 3rd party scooters. Im worried about all walking for mom dont want her to be pooped before we get to paris.

Thanks so much!!! I am super excited to add this amazing addition to this trip to Paris.

That’s correct. No timed entry unlike the old FastPass or even the current LL system. Simply scan the Disney Premier Access QR code at the front of the attraction entrance, follow any in app directions and you’re on board!

Hotel+Tickets work differently where the QR code is linked.

Are shows in English?
Ride and attraction audios are in French. Park Announcements are in French. Some shows are half French half English, as in Mickey will ask Minnie a question in French and she answers in English. Some shows are totally in French, some shows are totally in English, you need to check the App to see when English shows are on.

4. Will the park feel familiar to me? Aka wdw magic kingdom.
Yes and no. You need to have the mindset and attitude that it is a stand alone park. It is an American style theme park in France, designed for French and European guests. It is Frenchified Disney. It has a Castle, Main Street, a Hub and many rides and attractions you will be familiar with but it is NOT Magic Kingdom scooped up and transported to France.
6. Any restaurants not to miss?
Food is Frenchified American theme park food. Do not expect French fine dining. The majority of the in park restaurants are burger, fries, chicken, pizza, hot dog places. The sit down restaurants are French interpretations of American food.

The sit down restaurants in the onsite hotels, the buffets and table service are where you will find the better quality food.

The use of scooters both 3rd party rentals and owned scooters for adults are not a thing at Disneyland Paris. You will have a hard time trying to find a 3rd party rental company.

Thanks so much for all the detailed information!!!!
Is the weather usually Hot end of May?
Im hoping not😊

Ride and attraction audios are in French.
I’d say that ride announcements, especially the safety spiel are in both languages - after all on Big Thunder you’re still told to hang on to them hats and glasses cause this here’s the wildest ride in the wilderness!

@alldiz I would recommend checking out the sticky thread at the top for first timers to DLP as it has loads of great info and some hints and tips you might not be aware of.

In terms of May temperatures, the average high is 20 C / 70 F, but that can vary in either direction by 10 C / 20 F very easily.

3. Are shows in English?
I'll add a little more here. I'm also a frequent flyer at WDW. We first went to DLP 2 years ago and are going again this May.

Like others have said, some things are just in French, but others are in both English and French. We never found it a problem. Signage is usually bilingual and English is generally spoken across the parks. A friendly "bonjour" when starting a conversation goes a long way.
4. Will the park feel familiar to me? Aka wdw magic kingdom.
The parks are an interesting mix of WDW and DL in California. The hub area in front of the castle is very similar to Florida. We were sitting on a bench waiting for the fireworks/drone show and it would be easy to think you were at WDW. A couple of girls sitting next to us from England who had been to WDW said the same thing. Disney Studios (or whatever it is called now- Disney Studios Park) has a feel similar to DCA in California, but is much different. It is fairly small, but the World of Frozen opens at the end of March and should add quite a bit to that side.

The Disneyland side is small'ish compared to WDW, but packs quite a bit in. Make sure you check out Thunder Mountain. It is the best of any Disney park.

Go over maps of the parks to get familiar with what is where before you arrive. That helps a little, but just wandering is great too.
6. Any restaurants not to miss?
A word about restaurants. They are NOT anywhere near the caliber of WDW restaurants. The French do not go to theme parks for great food and the restaurants (and service) reflect that. As long as you go in anticipating OK (not great) food and aren't picky, you won't go hungry. Service is hit or mis. We never experienced terrible service, but there are plenty of examples on various groups complaining. Some of that may be applying American expectations to French restaurants, but I just keep the bar low and it is easy to fall over it.

We are super excited about going back. We're also staying at the Disneyland Hotel. It was closed for a remodel when we were there and wanted to try it out.

Another comment about the hotels at DLP. They are not "resort" level accommodations like you find at WDW, especially on the DVC side. The theming is great and overall they are nice, but think of nice "hotels" and not "resorts" and you'll be fine. We stayed at Sequoia Lodge 2 years ago and we would go back and stay at any of the 3 around the lake. It was a nice place to stay with a decent lobby bar. The restaurants at Sequoia were pretty good, just expensive. 30€ for the breakfast buffet and 49€ for dinner.

Have a great time!
