We lost a camera bag while at DLR last week. It had 2 spare memory sticks in it too. :( Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I got back to AZ. Does anyone know of a number I can call to see if it was turned into lost and found? TIA! :)

Ooooh, does that mean you lost the camera, too? That would make me :faint:

Oh, man, I hope they still have it. My dorky dh left our camcorder on the Monorail when we were there in August. He was able to pick it up at Lost and Found the next morning. That was one sleepless night! I hope you still have the camera, and it's just the bag and the sticks that were lost.

Call and report it, then call everyday for at least a week. I don't know why but it takes forever to actually get something back. I have lost many things, and even knowing exactly where it was lost (one time it was keys in a CM break room) it usually takes about a week or so before they actually end up having the item. It also seems that out of site out of mind. While I've heard of people being sent stuff, the only time we have ever had anything sent to us was my daughters AP. I went to Lost and found 3 days in a row. On the 3rd day it showed up at home in the mail.

i lost my credit card just 2 days ago :( cancelled and reissued. Im a bit suprised on how many ppl who dont report their stuff missing.

On our last stay at the DH, my DS(7) left his all important pirate ring in our room pirate: ... Of course it had to be the day that we checked out... I called the DH and spoke with someone in housekeeping to report that a small, plastic ring was left somewhere in the room, but most likely on the bed. My DS was really upset that it was gone forever... But not so! I got a call later in the day that our wonderful housekeeper found it and it was waiting for him back at the hotel... He was soo excited and I was soo pleased that it was found and they cared enough to hold it for him. :woohoo: What great service!!! :cheer2:

Thanks so much for the number, Lynn. :goodvibes I'll be calling tomorrow. :)

No, thankfully the camera wasn't in the bag. I'd have died if I lost my camera and all my photos.

Just reread what I wrote. What I meant about out of sight out of mind, was it seems that even though you fill out a report, they don't always send or contact you. I'm sure it takes a long time to go through all the stuff lost. If you call frequently, they will search and if they find it send it right out.
