Hello! Does anyone know if there is a grace period to pay off your Disney Vacation Package? Mine is due on 10/10, but it looks like I might not be able to pay until a couple days after that and I would hate to lose my reservation. :-(

To my knowledge it is 5 days. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

When I accidentally ran past the due date on ours last month I got an email that stated my reservation would 'auto-cancel' at 30 days out if it was not paid off.

the grace period is really closer to two weeks on a pkg. They typically send you a reminder notice a day or two past the 45 day out pay in full due date. It will definitely get cancelled at the 30 day mark if not paid. Your best bet is to call just before your due date and have them note on your reservation when you will be making final payment. That way they know you didn't forget and still want the reservation. Good Luck!!

you have until 30days out to pay it. They will send a notice if its not paid by 45days. Call and they can note that it will be a few days late.

It actually MIGHT not get cancelled at the 30 day mark! In July ,we decided to cancel our September trip because I'm pregnant and assumed that I would be too uncomfortable. I called and cancelled. I never thought about it again and didn't think anything about not getting a cancellation email. Anyway, about a week and a half ago, I got a call from Disney. She said that they had never received payment for our trip.....which should have started 9/23! I don't know what happened but we chalked it up to a computer problem on the day I cancelled. I did get a reminder email at 30 days but it got lost in a bunch of junk email and I never noticed it! The lady did tell me that if I wanted to, I could go ahead and pay because the reservation was still good!

Now, I wish we had never cancelled because I feel great!! We actually rescheduled a quick 4 day trip in early October but it's a secret! shhhhh

To confirm further what others have said, the auto-cancel is supposedly at 30 days. The last 2 trips we had, I've paid at around the 40 day mark (vs. 45). Last year, we called and they told us no big deal, they would note it. This year when I called, they said they couldn't "guarantee" it wouldn't be cancelled, but it likely wouldn't be. Made me a little nervous, but it was not a problem in the end.

We have also downgraded a package to pay it off then just called back to re-upgrade when the funds were available (changed a room view, decreased number of days on tickets, removed dining, etc) - that was kind of a pain, but it worked out also. :goodvibes

Thank you all for this information. I feel so much better. We were expecting some money to come in before our due date of 10/10, but it won't come in until about 10 days after that.

I've called twice to ask about it and one CM told me there wouldn't be a problem, but I spoke to another CM and she said I better pay it by the due date because it's turned over to Accounting and it will get cancelled.

Again, I really appreciate the feedback!! :wizard:
