Help! In Need of Gift Ideas

Does anyone have any ideas for gifts for the following people?

1) My dad's assistant. He wants to spend around $125 and normally gets her a gift certificate to a restaurant, but he wants to get something different this year. Unfortunately, we don't really know much about her, so we don't really know what to suggest.

2) Our aunt is having her first baby, and while we do have a lot of relatives that they can get some baby items from, we were wondering what would be something nice that would be better new? We're probably looking to spend between $100-200. We were thinking maybe a carseat or something like that?

As for the aunt, I would see if she is registered somewhere and then see what is on her list. Big items that come to mind would be a stroller or car seat or something of the like, but I would think most mom's to be would register somewhere.

For the assistant I was thinking of a spa gift certificate, someplace that gives mulitple services, like hair, manicure, pedicure, massage. I know I would appreciate a gift like that.

Unless you get the specific carseat your Aunt requests, be careful. Many times carseats have to be "tried out" in the vehicle to see if they fit properly. With both my kids we took several display models from the stores to our car to see which fit the best.
