Help! I'm trying to figure out the best way to book a trip!

Hi! I don't know where else to put this, and I apologize if it's addressed somewhere. I've tried looking but haven't found anything yet We'll be driving down to Orlando and want to stay at the Fort Wilderness. I know they have a AAA discount, and I've heard there are separate parking lots for AAA and a couple other perks.
So, how do I get the parking permits and other AAA perks, including the discount?! Is the best way to book through Disney themselves, or a random Disney travel agency? Or do I need to go through AAA?
I'd rather just call up Disney, but I want to make sure I get the AAA discount and anything else AAA gives, like the parking, etc. So, how do I do this?! Any help is appreciated

I'm not an expert - but I can tell you my experience - I just booked through a AAA travel agent today for our Nov. trip - You can call WDW directly for ROOM OMLY and get the AAA discount ;however, if you are going to want the dining plan it has to be part of a "package" - room, tickets, dining plan AND WDW will not give you the AAA roomdisocunt - you have to pay rack for the room/cabin. Now, if you book through an AAA agent - you can get the "package" - room, tickets, & dining plan at the AAA discount rate for the room. Do I have you confused yet? We are going end of Nov. , and wanted to stay at Wildnerness Lodge - I called WDW directly , spoke to a very nice lady and got my quote, then called the AAA agent and got their quote - AAA agent came in at almost $400 cheaper because we got the room discount.
