and staying at SSR. Is there anything you recommend I bring? I am packing right now. Do they provide pool towels? Thanks in advance.

I like to bring a fitting king size sheet for the bed. Also some extra dish towels if plan on using your kitchen.

Have a great first stay. Make sure to give us a report when you get back :)

are you driving or flying? are you using ME, rental car, or car service?

We are driving. We just live right in Atlanta, so it takes about 6-7 hours to drive.

I always make sure that I take round coffee filters, and my own coffee. Yes, all of the DVC resorts have pool towels, but they are not large beach towels if that is what you want, just regular sized towels. I always bring some laundry detergent if I plan to do some clothes,(I just double baggie it) to save space and avoid a spill. If you are in a one or two bedroom you will have a washer/dryer, if you are in a studio there should be a complimentary laundry, just ask when you check in or call before you go. I take water to put in the frig so we can start out each day with a cold water, saves us from buying one as soon as we get to the part. I put them in the freezer as soon as I get up so they are really chilly and we refill them at the fountain during the day. I use one of the water straps that you can pick up anywhere in disney for $3-$4 to hold it.Extra sugar for that coffee above. If you are bringing a cooler from home, you could go ahead and bring your own 1/2 and 1/2. Can you tell I like my coffee in the morning? :welcome: HOME!

Did you get a 1 or 2 bdrm or a studio? I overpacked for the 1 bdrm a couple of weeks ago. You are going to have a wonderful and relaxing time!!!!!!!

Hi, I always pack a couple of my own (DISNEY) pool sized towels! The ones they give you at the pool are smaller sized towels and we like our own to wrap up in when we are wet! A few things not to forget are sunscreen, hats, medications, water bottles and snacks. Joan

We booked at the last minute. I really needed my Mickey fix - it has been 4 whole months :guilty: :sad2:

So we took what we could get. A studio for Saturday night and then off to a 1 bedroom for the rest of the time.

My daughter and I took a last minute trip in January and had a blast! You can never get too much Disney. That has been my record lately, every 4-6 months! As far as packing I can't think of anything that isn't coverd above. Have fun! :wizard:
