Hey all - I'm making this really cool Curried Creamy Veggies, and I just opened the Coconut Milk, and its pretty much all solid with a little bit of liquid. It smelled good, but its my first time cooking with it, so I don't know if its normal. I was on the phone with someone when I opened it, and she said that she didn't think it was suposed to be that way... HELP! Did I just ruin dinner??

Thanks!!!

Not sure about coconut milk, but I know the coco lopez that you use for pina coladas is solid with some liquidy stuff on top. When you put the spoon down in it and stir, it will blend.

It is fine. The cream is the coconut milk has just risen to the top. Stir it up or shake it and you will be okay. It always does that.

Thanks so much for the advice - I ate it anyway before I read this, and I'm still alive, so your right, its fine! Tasted pretty darn good too!
