I BOOKED 3 NIGHTS AT THE CR & 4 DAY DREAM PKG. IN NOV FOR MY DAUGHTERS ( 8 & 5 ). WANT IT TO BE MAGICAL FOR MY GIRLS. AFTER CHECKING OUT OFF DIS RESORTS & ALL THE POOLS AND SPACE I'M THINKING IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE! HELP??

hi: i have no idea what you're paying for the cr. we've stayed there half a dozen times over the years when our kids were close to those ages. they loved the resort, especially the monorail and the arcade. we haven't stayed off site since 87. after that trip, we decided it was to be on site from then on. if you feel that it is too expensive and you'd rather save a bit of money, you might want to see if you can change to a moderate or value resort. good luck with your decision. have a wonderful trip!

If youre concerned about the money Id switch to a moderate and spend the money on other things.Maybe a fireworks Cruise or something special. The moderates can be just as magical and are very nice and they all have themed pools with great slides.Coronado Springs has the Dig Site pool and the best transportation of the moderates.

I have two daughters the same age and a son that will be 4. I will be staying in the CR this summer. Yes, it's expensive; however, for me the transportation and location are worth it. I wouldn't even dream of taking the trip without being close because I know how much we need breaks from the parks. Staying at a monorail resort makes it possible to head over to the MK in the evening for a couple of hours after eveyone had a nice rest. My thoughs are that I will splurge while they are young. When they are older and don't get so tired I might try staying further away. Good luck with your decision.

I think if money is going to be tight, definitely switch to a moderate. However, if you can swing it, I think you will really like the CR. We stayed there with our 2 & 5 year old boys and they thought it was so cool taking the monorail to Epcot and the MK, and better yet, being able to WALK to the Magic Kingdom! You really feel like you're in the heart of Disney World staying at the CR.

I agree with WendyinNC. You're paying for convenience. How much is the location and ease of transportation worth to you? Factor that into the difference in price, not just space and pools.
When our kids were smaller, I chose this resort specifically because it was right on the monorail to the MK (and I'd always wanted to stY here ;) ). If you think you will be spending a lot of time at that particular park and/or are planning to take breaks during the day, this is the place!
We loved everything about the CR! Go and enjoy!!
