Help.....Illuminations Cruise!!!!???

Hi guys
Have tried other boards no luck..................My best friend is renewing wedding vows and i wanted to book illuminations/wishes cruise, but no idea the view of the fireworks is like from the boat.
Does anyone have photos taken from the boat at either of these events to give me an idea??

We've done the illuminations cruise a couple of times. The best thing about it; No people or obstructions in front of you at all, a GREAT spot to view the show. The boats usually tie off right on the lake side just out from under the bridge that ties France to the UK area.

Never took shots from the boat, since I thought it would defeat the purpose of the tripod. Unless everybody was very still.

Do it!! You'll enjoy the view and experience!!

We did a Wishes cruise last summer and the veiw is fantastic!!!!!! I didn't get any good photos as I sat at the back part of the boat, but the veiw and piped music was absolutely breathtaking. Our group was speechless after it was over and no one could say a word as we were trying to keep from crying with emotion. I hosted the Wishes cruise for a group of my staff friends that had never been to WDW before. I wanted them to experiance the Magic and my love of Disney. Little did I know that it would end up being one of my VERY best memories I have yet to have at WDW!

I haven't been on an Illuminations cruise but have watched Illuminations from the landings near both France and U.K., which is very close to where the boats park. The view is great (as long as the wind doesn't blow the smoke that way). On busy nights there are a lot of boats and it looks like not everyone gets up front, which could be disappointing.

Photos should be good except I can't imagine any long exposures will work well in a boat. IS/VR may help.
