I need Help! I won 4- one day park hoppers in a drawing. We are going in Feb however if we just reduce our 7 day passes we are buying to 6 day ones and use the free ones it is only saving us like $6.00 when the tickets are worth alot more than that. Any idea's on what I should do. I don't want to waste the ticket on $6.00

...
You could sell the one day passes on ebay. Or you could convert your reservation to room only (hope they come out with a room only code), and you wont be able to get dining and then you can upgrade the one day passes when you get there!

How exciting, I never win anything. CONGRATULATIONS.....

why do u add to your tickets the non refundable option to u can use them on another trip.

I would sell them on ebay. It would be a waste to use them for the 7th day.

What I was told at guest services is that you can upgrade your one day hopper if the price it was issued at is still the current price. (Last year we bought the one day hoppers with the free dining) However, since we bought them, the prices have increased twice, which makes it so we could not upgrade. Depending on when your trip is vs. when you won your tickets (if the price doesn't go up again before then) you may be able to upgrade them to 7 day hoppers, I would check before selling them on ebay, because that would get you the most out of them.

Any chance the same person uses all the 1-day tickets, and you keep the 7-day passes in place? You would of course have to purchase a 3 day pass for the person using up the freebies, but it still might come out ahead that way.

do the one day passes have some expiration on them? If not, just save them for another trip. They are good until first used, so can be saved forever.

My understanding is that as long as they are not promo tickets that were free to start with then you can still upgrade them even if the price has changed. They will only refund the original purchase price though and then you will have to pay the current price for the new tickets. I would hold on to them and try to upgrade them at customer service at the parks to longer passes. If you have not purchased your tickets for Disney at all yet (which it sounds like you have not) then in this one case I would hold off and wait til your at the gate unless you visit the parks often enough that you would not mind having your tickets already for your next trip.

Did you win the tickets themselves, or did you win a voucher to get the tickets? If you have a voucher and have to pick up the tickets at the gate you won't be able to sell them on E-bay as your voucher will be connected to your name.

If only I had not already purchased my tickets from Disney, I would have been glad to have taken them off of your hands. Maggie
