Help! I underestimated this whole FP+ thing ...

I found the FP FAQ specifically the part about hardest to get and time saved to be extremely helpful when selecting my FPs.

I copied that part of the thread on an MS Word document and deleted items according to what my husband and I like to do and what I decided we would do (or try to do that is) during EMH along with the specific tiers and color coded them with the highlighter option.

Example from my document regarding AK:

So here-
~I listed next to each ride/attraction according to the FAQ what was considered to be the "Hardest FP to get", "Can be hard to get" and "Fairly easy to get".
~I also listed in terms of "Saves the most time", "Saves some time" "Saves the least time".
~I then color coded it on the tiers. Light blue=Tier 1 and Yellow= Tier 2. This helped me figure out what ONE (since you can only select one Tier 1) attraction I wanted to select from Tier 1.

I found this helped me personally. You might go to that part of the FAQ and figure out what works best for you in visualizing it. It can be a lot of work and I know the "FAQ" or "Everything you need to know about X" type threads can be confusing (I have had to ask questions so don't be afraid to do that :) ) but I really think sometimes it just is a matter of taking what someone has graciously put together (in this case @mesaboy2) and tailoring it to where it can make the most sense to you.

So I can see where you're coming from with the FP thread. It's definitely how I think about things (prioritizing and min/maxing) but not all think that way. So, what are your favorite rides? If you know then pick your favorite three "big" rides, and get those three. If you're going to MK multiple days then pick 3 more "favorites" or 1 from your other day, and 2 more "favorites" you want to ride. Don't worry too much about the strategy and all that. But make sure you schedule them where it makes sense. So if you plan to be in the park early, then take advantage of that first hour or so and don't plan a FP for that time. Maybe 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30. So, for example, I'd pick maybe Jungle Cruise at 10:30, 7 Dwarves at 11:30 and Space Mountain at 12:30. Then if you're staying, look for more. If you're leaving for the afternoon, pick something you might like for when you return. Remember, you have the entire window to arrive, so you don't have to be there right on the dot. Hope this helps!

Hey friends -
When my window for FP+ reservations opens (tomorrow), will the app stop asking if everyone in the group has a ticket?
My vacation package is booked, but the balance isn't paid in full. I can still make FP reservations, correct? When I tap on "Reserve Fastpass" it asks if everyone in the party has tickets. When I click on "link tickets" it says the tickets are already linked. Is this because I'm still at 61 days? I am trying to get an idea of what to expect tomorrow when I log in to make the reservation. Thanks!

Everything should open and you should be fine at 7:00a ET tomorrow. You do not need to be PIF.
