Help! I Need $$$$$$$

Fyi, Im 13!! See a 13 year old can not make money! And teens need it most! lol I am sick of being called irresposible! And oh yah! I am saving up money to get my own laptop! I need 1 when I go to wdw and places so I can talk to you guys.

OK, maybe this is just me because I didn't get a laptop until I started college, but do you really need one when you're 13?? And especially if your reason is so you can have a computer on vacations...chances are you could survive a few days without the internet. No offense or anything, but that just seems like sort of a lame reason to get a computer (you'd go to WDW, yet you'd rather be online??).

I agree with who said to stop spending your money. You're never going to save anything if you keep spending it!

Have you thought about taking (or maybe already taken) a babysitting course? Maybe if you were certified your parents would trust you more. I know I took a babysitting course when I was 13.

you dont want a laptop trust me, they are such a hassle. and sooo annoying. and like someone said before kind of, Teens DONT need money more than anyone. how do you think you can live in a house, it didnt just pop up there one day and your parents didnt just take it over, they prolly pay a morgage or even a rent idk, and the car/cars your parents drive..they didnt just fly out of the sky. what about the food you eat...do you pay for it? your parents deffinately need money and they need it so that you can have a nice life. you see I kind of take this for granted sometimes, I go to a private school, I go to Disney atleast once a year, this year it will be 3 times, i get designer clothes and handbags and stuff, and we live in a beautiful house that my dad built and my mom is still paying for and she only makes around 40,000 a year and we only have one real income coming into the house because my dad died when I was 5 and my social security money will stop when I'm 18. So yes I am spoiled but atleast I know that I dont NEED money, expecially for silly things like a new outfit when i have like 10 million or a new laptop that will just crash anyway. and it seems to me that you are just a little bit spoiled as well. but just to let you know, teens DONT need the money more than anyone else, unless you are out living on your own, which you have clearly stated that you werent. so sit back and relax while your parents give you a free ride, cuz your gunna want it back after you finally have to raise your own family.

The main reason I want a laptop is to take notes and such at school, seeing as how I'm terrible at keeping track of notebooks.

Maybe I can convince my parents to get me one this summer.

you wouldnt get internet unless you were around somewhere that had an open wireless port. and those arent completely safe anyway.

-babysit
-ask your parents for extra chores for extra money!
-walk neighbors dogs
-watch pets while neighbors are away on vaca
-get mail when neighbors are away on vaca

there you go, im 13 and i've done all those jobs!!! (pretty much)

My girls do Kidzeyes.com (up to 13) and Teeneyes.com (13 and over)
They are online surveys and they give you cash for the surveys you complete for them. It is perfectly safe and your parents are notified whenever a new survey is sent out. My youngest daughter 12, just completed a survey where they sent us a new type of strawberry flavoring for milk. They discontinued the survey, but still awarded her 1100 points, which is $11.00. It might not seem much to you at first, but give it a while and the points add up.
I mean, how many times have you had nothing to do? Well, take a few minutes, sometimes up to 20, complete some surveys and make some cash.

One of your parents has to sign you up, and when you want to cash in your account, they will send a check to your parents and they can cash it for you.
My girls are working on spending money for our next cruise, April '07. By then they should have a pretty nice amount!
Also, do your parents have an ebay account? If you have stuff you don't want anymore but other people might, there's a great way to make some cash, too

Hiya !! Im also trying to save , and i need over £ 500 !! What I'm doing , is getting rid of clothes , which I assume you have a lot of lol , and flogging them on Ebay !! Also , my mom gives me around £ 10 a week and I'm giving up everything to save that a week !! Ask your freinds to help you set up a hand car wash an charge around $3 - $5 a car !! Another way is ask around newsagents etc for a paper round ! They pay a few $$$ per morning ! If you do all these things you should beable to make the money you need , if not more ! take my advice , you really need to think this through , otherwise , there is no chance of you getting money at all !! I think you should talk to your mom aswell , tell her about the problem !! She might consider letting you do some of the things she told you that you weren't alowwed to do !
