Ok, the time has come to buy a new double stroller. I have a 5yr old and a 2 yr old who ride well in a stroller. I want to get a new one, but convenience for Disney is very important in my decision on which to buy. I want something as light and compact when folded as possible! Anyone out there really love taking their strollers to Disney? Which one did you use and how did it work for you?

We have a chicco for our big stroller that we will take for my little one and we also bought a Maclaren Volo for my 6 yo (he has a heart defect and tires easy). That Maclaren pushes like a dream and it is very lightweight. Even my dh was impressed with it and usually doesn't get into that kind of stuff. Anyway it is not a double but I'm sure the doubles are just as fabulous.
Not to forget the chicco, love that one too but not very lightweight. you can't go wrong with either one of those.

I'm doing double stroller research too for my 3yo and 6yo for our Oct disney trip. Since I'm taking them without DH, I want to bring a side by side double umbrella stroller. My son just turned 6 this week and weighs 43lbs, so I need one with at least 45lbs per seat.

Strollers that are 55lbs per seat are: Maclaren Twin Triumph, Maclaren Twin Techno, and Baby Planet Utility Sport.

Strollers that are 45lbs per seat are: Combi Twin Sport/Savvy, Inglesina Twin Swift, Peg Perego Aria Twin.

Strollers that are 40lbs per seat are: Chicco Trevi Twin, Joovy Groove 2 Deluxe, Zoopler Tango, Espirit Sun Speed Duo, Graco Duo Rider Side by Side.

Strollers that are 35lbs per seat are: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport, Kolcraft.

Not interested in the sit/stand because we may be out late and you cant sleep in the standing seat. Hope this gets you started.

I have a 4 and 1.5 year old and have the Combi Twin. We basically bought it to take to Disney. We used it on our last two trips this past year and both kids fit in it well. It has the recline feature and most importantly at Disney, it folds up pretty easily. The seats come up and then it folds in half lengthwise and has a connected strap so you can pick it up. Comparing it to my travel system single Chicco stroller, it folds up slightly narrower. My husband would usually stand or sit near the bus back door where there's extra room. The things I don't love are that the recline uses a clamp and one of them broke (we don't use it much outside of Disney) and the baskets on the bottom are pretty small and hard to get to. It pushes pretty easily and my youngest would sleep for a while in it. It does fit through a standard size door without much trouble. The sunshades are just ok - make sure you don't leave the lock in place when you fold it up. We did that and it's a little mangled now, but still servicable. Good Luck!

I checked all of the suggestions out on babies r us site. Funny, I never used a side by side stroller. And it is so hard for me to believe they could be lightweight or easy to maneuver! Right now my picks are:Chicco Trevi Twin ,Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport, and Combi Twin Sport. I really like the jeep, especially the price! I'm going to go in the store when I get the chance and try them out. Thanks for your help! Any other favorites??:surfweb:
