I already own about 10 pairs, but I NEED more!!! they are on QVC today and there are some great deals!!! I wear them EVERYWHERE!!!

there really are some great deals on QVC today if you like the Briks!!!


If I stay on the DIS long enough they might sell out of all the styles I like!!!

Hi Birkie lovers. Please help me to understand the sizing of Birks. I'm a size 10 (sometimes 9.5). I once ordered a pair from QVC, size 41. I felt it was a little too big, too wide. And I was not sure if I'd like that man-made "Birko-flor". Does it soften up like real leather would?

I bought some from QVC once too - and they didn't fit right either. I think they're not for me.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong? I generally wear a 7 or 7-1/2 and my foot is rather narrow. I think they said to "go up" if you were unsure, so I ordered a 38. But they aren't comfortable. The little toe grip bar hits in the wrong spot (the ball of my foot) and they seem so wide.

I too wear a size 10 (US ladies) and find that the URO 40 seems to fit just right. Not to big and not too small.

The birko floro or however you spell it is nice and soft already. It also cleans up well with a damp cloth.

Birko-flor is SO much better than real leather. The real leather always hurts my feet and the birko-flor is always soft (felt underneath).

Anyone that wears a 38 should go look on ebay. My sister is selling a ton of mine that were only worn 2-3 times.

As to sizing - remember that the narrow is really a B. The other width is VERY wide.

I agree with the birko-flor comment!! I do wear them more than my leather ones.

I have lost count how many pairs I have. I'm a shoe nut. I am a size 9 and i wear a 39 Euro. If a toebar hits on the ball, the shoe is too small. Give them a chance. I can't stand Crocs,

I have loved my birks for over 7 years...however ...and I hate to admit this....I bought my 1st pair of crocs in April for my trip to WDW in May and now I can't go back to my Birks!!! When I wear my Birks now my heels hurt really bad when I get up the next day. My Crocs are my heels best friend right now...I'll guess I'll wean myself off of them this winter-LOL!
