HELP... I need a room - NO availability!!!

Yay ... I'm getting to plan an unexpected trip back to the World. My oldest son and I are going Jan 15-19. There are NO rooms at any of the Value Resorts. Since we are only getting to stay 4 nights....are there any specials during this time? Any public codes? Disney Visa codes? Anything?

Please Help!! I need a good rate since I was just there Nov. 1-8.

check disney's site...they have the 4/3 deal for that time. you don't have to stay the whole 7 nites. pay for the first 4, get the rest free.

I'm getting ready to cancel on for Jan 24th until Feb 1st (POP) since my niece and her hubby can't go due to new job popped up. That's not going to help you with your dates though.

You are trying to book a holiday weekend (MLK), so your dates will probably be excluded from any deals that come up. There is availability at one of the moderates at Disney's website, but the weekend days are more expensive. You're right at the 45 day point for people cancelling reservations for packages, so I would be calling the next day or two to see if anything opens up.

You have a few options. You could check for discounts at the Swan/Dolphin. Sometimes you can get a good rate there, and you get to use Disney transport to the parks. You could check other booking sites, like AAA (if you're a member) or Expedia, and see if they have any on property deals. You could check into the DTD hotels and see if they have any deals running. Or you could stay off property and drive in.

I can sympathize. I had to move my vacation down a couple weeks in January to get my AP discount, because there wasn't availability over MLK weekend.

Lots of blackouts for the MLK weekend, and now limited availability even at rack rate. I was holding a room at Pop, but no AP discounts and higher rates since it's a holiday weekend ($92). When AP discounts were released only moderates were not blacked out for that weekend and were $99 a night, so I switched to PO.
