HELP! I need a question answered before Jan. 31!!!!!!

I hered that Space Mt. (in orlando) was closed on an account of they were repairing/ redoing lights, rockets, & track! and i hered that it will be closed 18~24 months

I'm going on Jan. 31

I'm not sure about that, but when I went to Disney this week, I went on the TTA. When the TTA goes through space mountain, the lights were up, but im assuming it was cuz the ride had been stopped....people were stuck on the ride and there were still long lines. It definitely ruined it seeing it all lit up. I don't know if what you heard has anything to do with that. since I was jsut on the TTA, I dont know how long Space Mt was down for. Hope that helps!

i do believe that they are only redoing the theming for space mountain at disneyland and not walt disney world. Other websites do not mention magic kingdom rehab of space mountain.

You might want to call walt disney world though.

Wow... I heard it wasn't going to be closed that long!! I know it is closed because there was an injury I believe... not sure though. They also want to make the ride as smooth as Rockin' Rollercoaster. So, maybe a few months! I hope not for long!

well cuz in disneyland there was an accident on thundermountain, but i never heard anything bout spacemountain in wdw. hopefully space mountain isnt down!

Well I just went on it today so as far as I know it isn't closed.

SM at WDW is open the Space Mountain is closed at DL due to structural problems. They are demolishing the building and going to be rebuilding it from the ground up.

I'm not entirely sure, but something happened with one of the wheel mechanisms on one of the trains, causing it to derail. It crashed, and killed one person, and seriously injured one or two others.

This was at Disneyland in California, not Disney World.
