HELP! I leave tomorrow and coming down with flu

We all came down with colds last week. I started taking Airborne and I am making DD13 take it too. We are still dosing ourselves daily, drinking water like fish, and washing our hands a lot! My cold didn't last long.

Airborne is so disgusting I literally can't choke it down, but now they make it in a chew, caramel apple flavored, same size as a calcium chew. It's disgusting, too, but I can handle it better than that swamp water liquid.

We leave in 36 hours. I'm not even packed.

You know..ROFL..the first time my mom had an airborne she didn't know you were supposed to put it in water.

Was a little scared and intrigued that it started violently foaming in her mouth

I have 3 kids, and even though they are now teens, it always seems like somebody has some kind of bug going around in our house.

I don't wait until I get the sniffles, when I start to feel tired and worn out I take max amounts of B, C, Zinc and garlic caspules - with a ton of fluids. I very rarely get sick anymore - knock wood! LOL

I swear by the garlic capsules.

Go to your doctor right away and ask for tamiflu (might have a diff US name - google it) which is designed to reduce The severity of flu if used within 48 hours of symptoms(this would be the high temperature, body aches etc etc as well as cold symptoms like sore throats.)...it's the one governments stockpiled for the avian flu.
