I had to cancel my Le Cellier resv. because I didn't know that it had already changed to 2 T. serv. credits. I'm so sad :sad1:. I have never been and was really wanting to try it. O'well. I need help picking something else. Here is the list of poss. that are available. What should I choose?

Lib. Tree Tavern
Cape May
Capt. Grille
Olivia's
The plaza
Sci-Fi
Trails End
The Turf
The Wave
Coral Reef

Thanks!

Keep Canada, Cancel Sci-Fi, use CS for missed meal at Pepper Market CS !

Le Cellier doesnt' switch over to Signature status until March of 2011. For now, it is still 1 TS credit so don't cancel!

Cape May has character breakfast and dinner is not but is very food:thumbsup2
Captains Grille is good but they have dropped the filet
Olivias we did not care for at all
liberty Tree no longer has characters but dinner good there
The Plaza is mostly sandwiches and is a TS so we do not use one for that
Sci Fi fun to see but not worth using a TS for
Trails End good
Whispering Canyons we like for family style dinner and is fun is in WL
The Turf no idea on this one?
The Wave we avoid like the plaque:scared1:
Coral Reef some now say it is good years ago was not
Le Cellier was not to go to 2 TS (for dinner) until sometime in 2011--can still do lunch for 1 TS last I heard
Kona Grill in the Poly is also very good
Tony's Town square is Italian and good
O Hana's is fun and dinner great and trying breakfast there this trip (in 8 days)
Keep trying as they have things open up all the time if your doing this on line or calling:cheer2:

Hmm. I would double check that because they have not been changed on their Dining Plan brochure.

I called to check again because I'm of course mad that I cancelled it if that's not the case and another lady told me it's taking place as of Jan., which that is when I'm going.

Can I ask what you're experience was at The Wave?

Was planning to try it in December due to the great reviews, but not alot of people have tried it either. Thanks!;)

BTW, 2TS credits I thought for dinner only starting March 2011, but 1TS credit still remains for lunch.

The Disney web site very clearly states that the change is effective March 1, 2011. Thus, any reservation for January should be as a 1TS meal, no matter whether lunch or dinner. That is the only reason I still have my dinner ressie! I keep considering cancelling it because there are so many other places we want to try. Decisions, decisions! :headache:

So just to let everyone know....I called a third time to Disney and this lady told me yes it was happening in March. I exp. my situation and it was a big deal. I was really upset, so she called a manager and exp. the situation to him. At first he didn't want to let me have my ressie back, but I let him know that customers go to them for correct information and how is that right if I was given false information by two different people and I'm the one having to pay for it. They agreed to let me have my old resv. back, since I of course was unable to book it again on my own (it was gone!). Thanks for everyone's help who assured me it was happening in March. If it wasn't for that I would have just let it go.

If you are going before Le Cellier goes to 2 tickets under the dining plan I would try to get a cancellation. This TS is clearly not worth 2 TS tickets, but Disney is leveraging its popularity under the dd plans to recover cost and will only reflect on this decision if it no longer books out. The list you have is a lot of the less desirable TS restaurants. There are no other ones available or ones you would consider? If this is it you might consider Coral Reef (hit and miss in quality and service), Sci Fi (for fun - burger & shake), The Plaze (solid hamburger/shake/ice cream place), Cape May ( seafood and Summer picnic stuff - average to good).

glad that they stepped up to the plate and let you have your old reservation back...sometimes it pays to be persistent....
Have a good time

I agree. Glad to see they handled the situation properly.

My son gets embarrased when I persist, but as I always tell him - persistence is good, as long as you are polite about it.

B-ride.....you are so right about the being polite about requests or problems.

Good for you! You will enjoy Le Cellier...

When it does go 2 TS credits..the menu will be new and they will be the other signature restaurant in Epcot. I look forward to trying...
