I booked my adr's last night and got all the ones I wanted at the times I wanted. Because we decided on taking this trip at the last minute I did not have time to get CRT for breakfast. My 4 year old neice is coming with us and she absolutely adores the princess's. She is not shy and will talk and interact with them as well.

I was able to book the Restaurant Akershus princess lunch but I am not sure that the food will be anything that anyone from my party will be interested in. While I was on the phone I asked the CM to check and see if there was anything available at CRT. There is a lunch spot and the same day that we are eating breakfast at Crystal Palace.

Here is my question. Is CRT really worth the two credits each or will we be better off just staying with Akershus. My neices fav princesses are Belle and Aurora which will be there.

What do you all think??

THanks Staci

We ate there for breakfast and the breakfast was yummy. I saw the menu for lunch and dinner and I know my family wouldn't enjoy most of the menu... we're doing 1900 Park Fare for dinner with our girls since my DD is turning 4 and she wanted to see Cinderella for her birthday but I didn't want to use 2 TS credits :rotfl:

There's something special about being in the castle. Having said that, I don't think I would use 2TS credits on it. I do however have a breakfast booked there that I am paying out of pocket for. If you have never been to the castle before, I would eat there. The breakfast at PSB was really good, not sure about lunch, it doesn't really appeal to me. Another thing to think about is doing 1900 Park Fare for dinner and meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy & Perla, and the Fairy Godmother, which would only be 1 TS. You can meet some of the princesses in MK in Toontown. Just something else to think about.

ITA!!
The castle experience is fun and should be tried to see if you like it at least once. That said, we had dinner there and the food was mediocre @ best. I would not use 2 TS credits for CRT, just my .02

DW and DD are doing the 1900 Park Faire dinner as we didn't think the CRT was worth the money based on the reviews we have read. They are going to be there at opening and hope to help Fairy Godmother open up the joint for the night.

I agree that there is something special about dining in the castle even to me! From an 8 year olds perspective (my niece, who loves the pricesses) she alternates between CRT and Princess Storybook. This trip is CRTs turn so yes we will spend 2TS for lunch as even though the adult lunch is only $34 and doesn't seem to be cost efficient, the children's lunches are $23 and that is more than two days of meals for them so we figured we will break even after adding in the CS and snacks.
We did have dinner at Akershus last August and the food was actually vey good! We had wrestled with which meal but chose dinner in hopes that Ariel, niece's very favorite would be there. Well Ariel was there and it was one of those priceless moments when she saw Ariel for the first time, then when Ariel came to the table. It would have been worth it for 10x the amount of dinner that night!
Belle and Aroura have been at every pricess meal that I have been at, both CRT and PSB (total of 5).
