HELP! I dont know what I should be doing

I read a bunch of the stickies on top and a few threads. Im clueless of what I need to be doing.

I have a package reservation for late Oct.

Do I need to sign up somewhere to get into GE? Do I just try to reserve FPs as usual? What is a virtual queue and when do I join it? So confusing (Sorry, Im old!)

There are no FPs for Galaxy’s Edge (yet). Reservations ARE needed for the cantina, lightsaber build and droid build.

You don’t need to sign up for anything unless you want to go into the cantina, build a lightsaber, or a droid.

There are no FPs for SWGE.

A virtual queue is only in place when needed. It’s a virtual line instead of a physical line. This only happens when the land is at capacity. There are threads with more info on this as well. If it is in place the app will guide you to entering the queue.

Yes, if you show up and the land is at capacity you’ll be prompted to enter the virtual queue. For example today was opening day and the land was at capacity until early afternoon. It’s been open since.

Think of the virtual queue like taking a ticket at the deli counter or DMV. In some cases, you can walk right up because there is no wait and get service; but other times there might be a wait and you take a ticket and come back when you number is being "called." In some cases at Galaxy's Edge, there may be plenty of room in the land and so you can walk right up and get in. If, however, the land is full (they'll tell you this at the entrance, or you can see it in the phone app), you sign up for the virtual que via the phone app, get assigned a "board number," and come back when your number is called (you'll get a notification) and will be let in at that time.
