Help! I did it gear??

After the full, I was too tired to grab a shirt. Too superstitious to get it before the race. Anyone know where they might be for sale now???

Cruz, that stinks, I was in the same boat. Unfortunately, they were out of my size in the finishers tent. I went to the design-a-tee place in Downtown Disney and had the Marathon logo (it and the 1/2 were one of the designs available) put on a l/s tee and added 2012 above and finisher below the marathon logo. If nothing else, you might be able to do that if you visit WDW again this year.

I'm also looking for an 'I Did It!' 1/2 Marathon tee in L/XL but have had no luck thus far in finding one. Let me know if you find a place that has them, Cruz.

I am a critic of them being sold pre-race... and of owning one pre-race. However, they are sold at the expo and from what I know from my experience over the years... if you see it, grab it. There is no guarantee of finding it again 5 minutes later, much less pre-race.

Here is the rub. A limited selection of race gear is usually at the store at WWoS or at Team Disney (DTD) (though this year they did not send any to Team D) for about a week post race. After that, it is gone, only to be found in one of 2-3 local outlet stores in the Orlando area a few months later. Since the Sports merchandise and regular Disney stuff are not really handled under the same group, there is no way to pick up shirts, etc except in person. It's kind of sad as I think they miss out on selling stuff at retail for a few more days as opposed to dumping it later on teh outlet market.

I agree, Coach! I'm trying to track one down for my father (ran his first ever race this year) who balked at buying one since the guy selling them said they were women's tees. He changed his mind a couple days later but never figured out how to get back to ESPN to see if they had any in a store. I'd love to surprise him with one but I am very doubtful I'd find it anywhere. I don't like to buy anything 'I Did It' prior to running, jinx or not, so it sucks that they don't take advantage of the post-race sales opportunities. The pickings at the inish line booth for the 1/2 were slim to none as it was. I was very disappointed.
